JORDAN LEVIN, AIA

During 16 years of professional practice with Pfeiffer Partners and elsewhere, his wide-ranging experience focuses on the Performing Arts and Museums. His work includes the California State University-Fullerton Joseph A.W. Clayes III Performing Arts Center, Fullerton, CA; Performing Arts Center Eastside (PACE), Bellevue, WA; the University of Hawaii Kennedy Theatre Addition, Honolulu, HI; Palm Desert Performing Arts Center, Palm Desert, CA; The Pearl at The Palms Resort and Casino, Las Vegas, NV; California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo Davidson Music Center Expansion Study, San Luis Obispo, CA; Florida Gulf Coast University Fine Arts Building, Fort Myers, FL; Beverly Hills Cultural Center Renovation and Expansion Design, Beverly Hills, CA; Brown University W. Duncan MacMillan Hall, Brown University, Providence, RI; University of Maine Holocaust Research Center Competition, Augusta, ME; Malibu Presbyterian Church Design Competition, Malibu, CA; Main Library, Cincinnati, OH; and the University of Alabama Lister Hill Medical School Library in Birmingham, AL. A painter and sculptor, Jordan possesses an acute understanding of museum projects, which proved critical in his work on the Skirball Cultural Center, Los Angeles, CA, and the Sacramento Archives and Museum Collection Center (SAMCC) New Archives Facility Master Plan Study, Sacramento, CA, both of which have major museum components. Jordan brings enthusiasm and attention to detail to all of his activities, which have included serving as an instructor and thesis advisor at both Yale and Boston Architectural Center. In addition, he has served as a visiting critic at those institutions, as well as at Harvard, Roger Williams College, Wentworth Technical Institute and Northeastern University. In addition he has completed the Construction Documents Technology (CDT) Program and, as such, is recognized by the industry as someone who writes, interprets, enforces, or manages construction documents. Jordan is an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), American Association of Museums (AAM) and the United States Institute for Theater Technology (USITT). He began his education at Rhode Island School of Design, has a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Maryland, and a Master of Architecture from Yale University.
